Faith is Essential to Christian lLving

• Christians are called to walk by faith, not by self-reliance.

• Faith is necessary to please God (Hebrews 11:6).

Doubt is a Divided Heart

• Doubt is less about how much faith we have and more about who we trust.

• Faith grows through confidence in God rather than uncertainty or divided loyalties.

  
  

Faith is Possible for Every Believer

• God would never ask believers to live by faith if it were impossible.

• Jesus offers freedom from the heavy burden of legalism and self-righteousness, replacing it with His lighter yoke (Matthew 11:30).

  
  

Faith Grows Like a Harvest

• The message uses the example of a farmer:

  • Soil must be prepared.

  • Seed must be planted.

  • Care and patience are required before harvest.

• In the same way, faith develops gradually and intentionally.

  
  

The Condition of the Heart Matters

• The first step to growing faith is repentance—turning back to God and allowing Him to soften the heart.

Repentance is An Invitation, Not Condemnation

• God invites believers to release things that harden the heart:

  • fear

  • hurt

  • betrayal

  • offence

  • pride

  • resentment

  • dependence on self

Humility Helps Faith fFourish

• Pride, criticism, division, and arguments over opinions can hinder spiritual growth.

• Believers are encouraged to stop judging others and focus on Jesus rather than camps or divisions(Romans 14:4).

  
  

Childlike trust is Good Soil for Faith

• Faith grows best in humble, teachable, tender hearts.

• Scripture encourages believers to remove malice, deceit, envy, and wickedness and receive God’s Word with humility (1 Peter 2:1–2; James 1:21).
