The Apostolic Grace

• Once we start to acknowledge that APEST can be found throughout creation and expressed through individuals and organisations, we can begin to explore the possible implications for disciples in all the various areas of society.

• Whether Arts, recreation, entertainment, architecture, construction, politics, media, industry, finance, education, family, government, health, science and religion.

• Wherever you find yourself, you need to be asking how can I work in the graces God has gifted me, so that His glory might be seen here on the earth?

• The Ephesians 4 grace gifts come together to serve, equip, partner and build up the body and extend the kingdom to reveal the glory of God in the earth.

• When working together the grace gifts are a healthy reflection of church.

• There’s no competing, disjointedness, division or individual agendas. They work in concert together to equip the church for the work of ministry.

• Even if you were called an Apostle, you have no right to walk around with a sense of pride because you have done nothing but God the giver of all gifts chose to grace you with the apostolic gift.

• Galatians 1:1 Paul, an apostle—not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead

• Paul in all his letters always introduces himself not simply as an apostle…but an apostle of Jesus Christ. Read: 1 Corinthians 3:5-11

• Peter adopts the same approach in his two letters, introducing himself as an apostle of Christ Jesus.
